Day 16... Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head

Anyone that knows me, knows about my Mr. Potato Head Collection.  I have nearly 100!  It all started about 3 years ago when I took my first teaching job in Texas.  I had two Mr. Potato Heads at the time.  One was from our honeymoon to Walt Disney World... we thought it would be a fun souvenir, it was but it had no place in our house.  The other was Darth Tater... I thought it was so funny when I saw it... the name got me!  So in my classroom, there are two Mr. Potato Heads, and there the collection started.  My kids LOVED giving me Mr. Potato Heads.  I have Mr. Potato Heads for almost every holiday, about 7 or 8 from the Star Wars franchise, two Transformers, an Indiana Jones and even Mr. Potato Head as Gene Simmons from Kiss!  It is a fun collection and I can't help but to stop and admire when I see Mr. Potato Head somewhere.  In fact, this summer there was a store window for Barney's New York that featured Mr. Potato Head.  I had to stop and take a picture.  I definitely miss being able to display all of my collection now that I am not in a classroom!
